Watsonville- Salinas:
Quality: Overall quality is good. The fruit is very firm due to colder weather as of late.
Volume: Production will depend on how much rain takes place over the weekend. Most ranches are wrapping up, but there are others that will keep going another few weeks.
2021 Planting: Conventional planting will be done this week. Organic fields will be done next week.

Florida:
Harvest: Growers were expecting to have had their first pick, but instead crews are cleaning up and assessing damage from Hurricane Eta where 5-7 inches of rain fell earlier in the week. Next week the weather should be dry, so new fruit can ripen up.

Volume: Cooler weather in Central Mexico has slowed down ripening and crop development. Expecting very light organic volume through January, then production is expected to increase again.
