Strawberries

Oxnard: 

Quality: Good quality with good shape, sheen and color.

Volume: Increasing volume as the new year begins.

Pack Counts: Conventional: 12-16 ct

Santa Maria:

Quality: Good quality with good shape, size and color. Seeing a lot less rot in the last week and minimal mildew due to the rain earlier in the week.

Volume: 2021 Spring crop volume is forecasted to pick up mid-February.

Pack Counts: Conventional: 18-20 ct / Organic: 20-22

Mexico:

Quality: Good quality with some green shoulders and overripe fruit due to chilly nights and high temperatures during the day.

Volume: Conventional volume is steady and organic volume is starting to increase this week through the end of January.

Pack Counts: Conventional: 15-20 ct

Florida:

Quality: Great quality with minor bruising.

Volume: Volume to soon increase as the warm weather is speeding up ripening this week.

Pack Count: 17-19 / 19-22 size varying depending on ranch

Blueberries

Mexico

Quality: Good quality with good size and bloom. 

Volume: Conventional volume continues to be steady and will be peaking in March. Organic volume is anticipated to increase in early February.

South America:

Quality: Great quality with good bloom, sweet taste, and good consistency.

Volume: Volume still increasing with the warm weather in south-central Chile.

Oxnard

Harvest: Started harvesting again very slowly. Volume to increase in the next few months.

Quality: Good quality with good bloom and taste.

Raspberries

Mexico:

Quality: Good quality with some overripe and green fruit.

Volume: Steady.

Blackberries 

Mexico:

Quality: Good quality with minimal red cells and wind damage.

Volume: Growers anticipate an uptick in volume starting mid-January.
