Watsonville/Salinas:
Quality: Quality is good with periodic soft and overripe fruit.
Volume: Production will remain steady for the next 3-4 weeks. Labor continues to be tight in this region.
Pack Counts: Conventional: 18-20, 22-24 ct. depending on ranch / Organic: 28-30 ct.
BLUEBERRIES
Oregon:
Quality: Growers are assessing the quality impact from another heatwave. Crews are working hard to keep packs clean.
Volume: A third extreme heatwave will likely decrease fresh production volumes for the remainder of the season. Plenty of clean packs are still shipping from this region.
Quality: Quality assessments are taking place as another heatwave impacts the region. Crews are working hard to keep fresh packs clean.
Volume: Fresh volume is expected to be consistent for the next 1-2 weeks.
Mexico:
Harvest Status: Light conventional harvests have started and are expected to increase in week 38 with peak production forecasted for weeks 41-47.
RASPBERRIES

Quality: Quality is great with big size and firm fruit. The only defect is occasional soft, leaky fruit from the wet weather.
Volume: Volume continues to increase each week.
Watsonville/Salinas:
Quality: Quality is good with nice size, appearance, and flavor.
Volume: Production is increasing each week with peak production estimated for September.
BLACKBERRIES
Watsonville/Salinas:
Quality: Quality is very good with minor red cells.
Volume: Peak production has started and is estimated to continue for 2-3 weeks.
