STRAWBERRIES 

Santa Maria 

Quality: Organic quality is good with occasional bruised and soft skin fruit.  

Volume: Production is slightly decreasing.  

Pack Counts: Organic Spring Crop: 25-28 

Watsonville/Salinas 

Quality: Quality is good with some overripe and soft fruit due to warm temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s.  

Volume: Production is slowly decreasing from peak volumes.  

Pack Counts: Conventional: 18-20, 22-24 depending on ranch; Organic: 24-28  

BLUEBERRIES 

Mexico 

Quality: Quality is good with some smaller-sized fruit due to cool temperatures.  

Volume: Production is on a downward trend for both conventional and organic fruit.  

Central Valley, CA 

Quality: Quality is good.  

Volume: Production is anticipated to decrease this week due to high temperatures.

Oregon 

Harvest Status: Light harvests are expected to start this week as the PNW season gets underway.

Washington 

Harvest Status: Light harvests are expected to start this week as the season gets underway.  

British Columbia 

Harvest Status: Light harvests are expected to start this week as the season gets underway. 

RASPBERRIES

Volume: Conventional production is increasing; organic volumes are steady.

Volume: Production is increasing as volumes approach the first peak of the season. 

BLACKBERRIES

Volume: Volumes are small and steady; spring plants are expected to be ready for first harvests in the next few weeks.
