STRAWBERRIES 

Santa Maria 

Quality: Conventional fall crop quality is great with nice shape and size. Organic quality is good with some bruised fruit and pin rot. Crews are working hard to keep a clean pack.  

Volume: Conventional fall crop production has started and will continue to build. Organic spring crop production is steady.  

Pack Counts: Conventional Fall Crop: 14-18; Organic Spring Crop: 24-28 

Watsonville/Salinas 

Quality: Quality is good with some overripe and soft fruit. Crews are working hard to keep defects out of the pack.   

Volume: Production continues with a slight downward trend.

Pack Counts: Conventional: 22-26 depending on ranch; Organic: 30-34  

BLUEBERRIES 

Mexico 

Quality: Quality is fair. Isolated hail and windstorms in Central Mexico have affected the fruit.  

Volume: Production is light.  

 Oregon 

Quality: Quality is excellent.  

Volume: Conventional peak production continues. Organic volumes are increasing. 

Washington 

Quality: Organic quality is very good. 

Volume: Production is steady. 

British Columbia 

Quality: Quality is good.  

Volume: Volume is picking up quickly and is expected to remain steady for several weeks. 

RASPBERRIES

Quality: Quality is good with some soft fruit due to wet weather. Quality is expected to improve as the weather does.  

Volume: Production is increasing.  

Watsonville 

Quality: Quality is good with some overripe fruit. Growers and crews are working to keep packs clean.  

Volume: Production is steady.
